There are a great many verses in scripture that clearly
teach that God is the father of our Lord Jesus Christ - the only begotten
son of God - and that he was sent by God to be our savior and that God made
him Lord. There are, on the other hand, only a relatively few verses that
imply the "mystery" of a trinity - a word by the way never
used in the Bible.
If verses like these have always troubled you - "Now
this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus
Christ, whom you have sent." [John 17:3] [NIV] and "For there is one
God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" [1 Timothy
2:5] [KJV] - then I invite you to visit
